Reclining Buddha

Another transit day in fresh weather, not as cold as yesterday but still not balmy. No cultural excursions on the road so we arrived early, cleaned the cars and then walked to the largest wooden Buddha lying down in Asia (quite a lot of parameters?) Anyway, it was impressive.

Tomorrow we head into the mountains where it has recently snowed heavily (vintage cars perform particularly poorly in snow), the temperature is below zero, oh and it rises to 4,000m !
